We do not claim Ether Press books as our own — they belong to the masters who brought the inspiration to the process. As such, the books are yours, and the rights and profits belong completely to you.

After freelancing with seven publishers and navigating the traditional process to publish his own book, he gained a clear view of how the industry operates — and where it can evolve. Known for his eye for detail, quick turnarounds, and insistence on strong execution, he has built a reputation as a standout freelancer. At Ether Press, he brings that experience to authors, guiding their work with fidelity, clarity, and care.

Joanne

Joanne Dashiell is the designer and creative steward behind Ether Press. She has a keen eye for beauty and quality, and no book goes through her hands that doesn’t feel as good as it reads. Outside of publishing, she spends her time making pottery, swimming in the ocean, and building an intentional family life. Her focus is on work that endures: thoughtfully made, intellectually serious, and quietly beautiful.
