Bringing it to life
We’ll create cover art, graphic design, front and back matter, and all of the technical information necessary to professionally publish and print the book. If your book is complete and reviewed, and you want to make it into something that people can order and hold, you'll go through production.
Where Quality meets design
Ether Press is committed to its authors' visions and ownership — rights and profits belong completely to the authors. That means 100 percent of the royalties belong to the author, as well as copyright and printing privileges. We want to take your inspiration all the way through to a printed book, and we take pride in providing that service.
After the process is complete and we have been compensated for our side, we don't seek anything beyond the satisfaction that we've helped a master create something ethereally significant. The post-production level of engagement between you and Ether Press is up to you.
The Production process
The book will be typeset, converted into a PDF, go through layout, and be given a once-over. If you've opted for a post-production proofread, the once-over will be a full proofread.
After this, we'll connect you with a cover artist and secure all of the elements for front and back matter — foreword, endorsements, copyright, and so forth. We'll secure an ISBN and discuss font, paper, binding, materials, size of the print run, and shipping. Once everything is decided and complete, we'll get the books printed and shipped to you directly or give you the tools to ship directly to your readers.
